With Miami around the corner, this is undoubtedly the hottest time of the year for new releases. And the cream of the crop this week comes from two of our favourite producers who’ve teamed up in the studio for the first time to devastating effect.

Antranig and Jose Nunez’s ‘Are You Ready?’ combines their strengths for a tough yet silky sound based on the hook from the Musique disco classic, ‘In The Bush’.

“Jose definitely brings tremendous experience and house sensibility to the table and I bring some edginess,” says Sondos ambassador Antranig.

“Working with Jose was a great experience,” he enthuses. “I’ve always loved his productions and had been wanting to hook up with him in the studio for some time, so I was very excited to finally have the opportunity to work together on this track. He is truly a master in the studio!”

Back for Miami

It’s great to hear the results when the Subliminal family work together, and get ready for plenty more of these hook ups in the coming months as we raise the temperature even further.

Meanwhile Jose and Antranig are back together later this month during Miami WMC week.

“I’m very excited and honoured to be playing at Subliminal + Friends at Arkadia on Thursday March 10th alongside the Subliminal masters Erick Morillo, Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero and Jose Nunez,” says Antranig.

“The rest of the time I’ll be checking out all of the other ‘Miami Madness’, then right back to the studioooo!”
